Qatar website keeps jumping to a fare of Ł2045. Finnair direct from Helsinki Ł1623, obviously lower TPs.

Check the return flight availability isn't stuffing your booking. It looks like weekday only inventory for the return from HKG. I got through to purchase screen on Qatar airways with Apr 3rd - Apr 22nd dates with 17,245 Kr = Ł1520.

There's also a promo code for ex-ARN departures on QR at the moment: MECENAT.

It might save you a few quid.

Hi all, My brain is fried looking for a deal on flights to Las Vegas (at least premium economy) whilst maximising my tier point collection (currently bronze) and avoiding the noisy 747. Looking for some guidance/assistance on flights in Feb for 7 nights from 15th or 16th. Flights can be from anywhere in Scotland (I'm in Glasgow) or from London. Anyone fancy giving me some pointers, suggestions?

Your best bet is a train up to Inverness (INV) and then starting the fare search from there. Are you looking to fly in J? F?

How much it cost to travel by train from London to Inverness and how long is the train ride to there?

dcshadow is based in Glasgow, so it's a short/inexpensive train ride for them. From London it's quite a journey and probably has the cost to match, in which case you're better off flying up.

Around half the time it takes from London but still well over 3 hours on trains that aren’t the best.
