Am I reading the Economy Basic chart correctly?

I'm looking at an Economy Basic fare ticketed by Iberia and operated by Finnair.
I am BA Silver.

Assuming I only need 1 bag checked is there any reason I would book the Economy Standard Fare rather than the Basic fare?
According to https://www.finnair.com/go/2018.12-1...ch18_en_v2.pdf as it is operated by Finnair I get seat assignment and ticketed by Iberia so I get checked baggage. Is this correct?

If you only have one bag to check then essentially you may as well go Basic, since IB marketed, AY operated, Sapphire gets you that one checked bag in Basic

A non Basic fare (Optima in this scenario) may have different fare conditions and (e.g.) different approaches to changes and cancellations, with Basic being non-refundable. But that's about it.

For anyone looking at this thread in future, I’m fairly sure the document on the Finnair website is out of date, and this document is the latest version: https://www.britishairways.com/asset...e-guide_en.pdf
