Autumn 2019 - no more 747 LHR DFW?
Time to book my bi-annual trip to Texas for Thanksgiving 2019, but I cannot find a flight being operated by a 747.
I have checked on ba.com (Timetables) but have been able to find my favorite bird. I have also poked around on thebasource, but have not managed to figure out a definitive answer. Usually there is a switch between a 777 and a 747 sometime in Nov but the 777 carries on as far as 05 December.
Assuming this can be related to 747 retirement.
I would gladly connect in the US if it gets me the aircraft I want. Is there a clever way to find out what routes have this type of aircraft in November 2019?
Any helpful input is appreciated.

With the addition of the fourth AA-operated LHR-DFW, BA have permanently removed the 747 from that route.
You could connect via ORD/JFK/IAD (among others) if you really want the 747? I think the AUS flight is only operated by a 747 in summer which isn't so useful for Thanksgiving travel.

Hi,
Also,
PHX and the LHR-LAS flights are safe 747s at the moment ( albeit you may get one with poor IFE)

Good! I will be on the 747 from LHR-PHX. I'm taking nonstop flight. Don't they have wifi or not?
