Gold additional reward availability

Can the Gold card holder book a seat for another person if they are not travelling? If so, does the traveller have to be a member of the household account?

Thank you

I assume you mean the V class extra availability in economy?

You can book for another person on ba.com and you donít have to travel yourself.

If you are in a HHA I think you can only book for anyone in your HHA or on your friends & family list. If you are not in a HHA you can book for anyone.

do you mean gold priority reward? i.e. if there is a seat available you can use double avios to book? If so yes that would work, although this needs to be booked by phone and at least 30 days before the flight. In terms of who you can book for the answer is the same as for the extra gold V class available.

your extra gold V class availbilty should show online on ba.com in a normal reward search.

Thanks. I’m not the Gold card holder so wanted to check before I made the request.
