GGL Space Release and Amex 2F1
First time poster who needs advice.
Can I as a GGL member trigger space release for two other members of my household account (wife and child) for these two members to book using Avios and my wife’s own Amex 2F1 voucher? I as the GGL member would not be travelling.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA forum Tillster, it's good to see you here and I hope that we will see more of you.
There is a GGL benefits thread in the Dashboard, and that's the best place to find out more. I think the Avios has to come from your own or HHA Avios collection to trigger space, and you don't have to be travelling yourself, so that's fine. However I have a feeling you can't use your wife's 2-4-1 except via her account, that won't have the "joker", or space opening, and that may be the issue. You definitely can't use your 2-4-1 unless you are travelling. I hope someone else can pitch in on this one since I'm not wholly certain.

The OP can use the joker and book for the other two members of the HHA, but not with a 2-4-1. As you say since the 2-4-1 requires the voucher holder to be one of the passengers on the booking.

Yes that has been my experience, so trying to use my joker with someone elses 2-4-1 was not allowed.
