AUP (How soon to arrive at airport?)

How soon should I arrive at the airport to inquire about an AUP.

Would a few hours prior to departure suffice?

Thanks Kindly.

A few hours!? The transaction will take a few minutes - I guess it depends on whether they are selling in the cabin you wish to move to. Certain outstations I wouldn't want to spend more than an hour / hour and half

I was glad to be at LGW early when I upgraded with my husband. It was heaving, we had to queue at the desk for about 15 mins, and then it took about 25 mins to process due to complications. Still time for 2 glasses of champagne in thr lounge though

I don't know how dynamic AUPs are - i.e. when they are released for sale, but they are limited and once sold they're sold. I once arrived to discover the person in front of me took the last one.

So while it doesn't take long to do, I'd be getting there on the early side to maximise my chances. That said, I'd also factor in the possibility of no AUPs on the day (which is quite common in my experience) and having to hang around at the airport for ages. So... if it were me, I'd get there at normal time but make a beeline straight for the ticket desk to ask and hope it's my lucky day.

Does anyone know if they can process AUPs in the First Wing?

You can do it in the lounge, but can also do it at First check-in in the First Wing. Any check-in agent there can process and take payment I think.
