I really dislike the seat back storage on the new seats. Having no sides stuff falls out all the time.

Miserable Seats

I was on the BA1432 LHR-EDI in 18C on 13 Dec

The seats are miserable to sit in. I don’t normally recline my seat but on this seat I kept looking for the recline button (non-existent). I eventually realised this was because I felt cramped and uncomfortable.

I agree with comments that the plane seemed quieter.

I would go out of my way to avoid this plane type now

Row 27 is ok...no window but great leg room. Crew were sitting in both seats at row 26 for the emergency exit door operation which for me was new. Apart from that pretty sure. Interesting crew dear right at rear toilets. It was clean...wonder how long that will last .

And so we have no exit row seats with the Old seats on this craft then. Dilemma, do I choose new (bad) seats in exit row 16 or do I go for old (good) seats further forward? Legroom vs seat comfort.....

I can't resolve this, other than that not everyone prefers the Pinnacle seating over the Recaro SL3510 seats. You may recall the complaints about Pinnacles forcing people too far forward on their seat to be comfortable, whereas easyJet's seating (also the SL3510) was judged by some to be better. Row 1 is still going to have the space and Pinnacle seating however.

I sat in 16d on this plane coming back from Stockholm last night. Unlike some others I really liked the seat. Not saggy like a lot of BA's seats and had some decent back support. There was plenty of leg room making it a great exit seat. I didn't even have to stand to let others past.
The tray table is small in these seats though.
I had a chat with a cabin crew member who said the reduced galley space made things difficult.
