It's worth keeping an eye on your bookings though, I had a change to a 777 for Jan, and got the seat change email as I was moved from 64k, but then it changed back to a 747 and as the seat stayed the same, no email. I managed to nab 64k again though.
Absolutely, good tip. ^ If anyone has a paid sub to ExpertFlyer I'd recommend setting up an aircraft change alert, because as chistery points out, it's possible to go 777-747 and still have your seat number be valid for the CW cabin depending on what you had for the 777. And even when it is not, you're relying on BA's IT to send the email!
