Future BA First developments

Had it been previously reported that 2 777s will be retrofitted with new CW, in addition to the A350s (obviously those are coming in fresh)?

Yes but those 77w refits will also have a brand new F seat based on the 789.

Makes sense, if all aisle access CW seats reduce the density, something has to give, and a reduction in the size of F is in line with everything BA has said to date on the matter. I still have mixed feelings about the 789 F seat. It’s not bad, but wouldn’t particularly call it an upgrade, just different for better and worse. Using it is an expediency to achieve the optimum cabin density across the aircraft.

The two 77Ws that will initially be retrofitted with the new CW seat, as far as I can tell.

Correct but I would expect any new 4 class deliveries post 2019 to have new F and CW

I understood that BA are getting two new 773s which would naturally be fitted with new CW and 789-style 8xF seats.

Has 8 been confirmed anywhere, or just assumed, due to F demand and proposed service increase?

There is no reason they could not put in 12 seats into the 777 if they wanted is there?
