Large number of flights from LCY cancelled today

Not many diversions. Just a whole load of cancellations and lots of delays too.

Diversion wise just 3. 1 Luxair and 1 Flybe to SEN and 1 Swiss to BHX.

Any point turning up on time for e.g. LCY-EDI that's scheduled for 19.10 that's now showing 21:41?

And would they give food vouchers?

If you have baggage, unless advised specifically that you can check in late, you would risk being offloaded due to closing baggage acceptance according to the original schedule, even if you have OLCIed. That's besides the advice above regarding the possibility the flight might be brought forward.

Could someone with access to Expertflyer kindly look up the reason given for the cancellation of BA3277 from LCY - DUS today? I'm currently in the South lounge at LHR on waitlist for BA946 (which is showing as very delayed) but the lounge staff won't tell me the reason for the cancellation of my LCY flight 'due to data protection'!!!

I think the reason is WEAN - but am not that use to reading these things I'm afraid.

Is there a specific cancellation or delay code given? I live very close to Canning Town so I'm rather surprised

G-LCYI was the scheduled aircraft which was due in from DUS as the BA3276. Weather at LCY is the issue. The last few hours looked like this:

The ceiling has been solidly at 300ft, the E170 and E190 has a MDA (Minimum Decent Altitude) of 460ft when landing 09, which is higher than the ceiling. The cloud has recently gone from overcast to broken, so there might be a chance to get in now, as there are gaps in the cloud but all depends if the gap is on the approach to the runway!
