It seems like we have quite a few are taking advantage of the recent good price on OTP-PHX so I thought it might be a good idea to see if we could put together some ad-hoc meet-ups. I don't want to organise anything as it seems that we are all travelling on different dates and, in some cases different routes, but it would be a shame to be on the same flight or in the same lounge as another FTer, not know and not be able to share a beer and stories... if that is what you want. Of course, if you like to travel alone then that is great too.

I am heading out to PHX from OTP on the 29th of March - struggled to get flights this time so doing it via Boston and Philadelphia... I also managed to book via BA and use a GUF to get First on the transatlantic legs

I have put into the wiki the itineraries I know of. Please check your own and either correct yourself or let me know and I will correct (this is very prone to error so I may have made one or two mistakes!!!)

snaxmuppet We even seem to be on the same flight LAX-PHX leaving in the morning. I am probably booking a cheap hotel at LAX via Hotwire. Sometimes the Westin is as cheap as USD 70 and quite OK. Lounge is unfortunately closing at midnight.

(I have been reminded that is always easier (or quicker) to ask for forgiveness, rather than permission...).
For what it's worth there seems to be availability in August for around £1400 ..

I still am looking for another run because after this one I will still need 700TP to get Gold. I am on the lookout for a good 600-700TP trip at a great price. £1400 for this trip would have been too pricey for me otherwise I'd just do it again!!!
BTW... just spoke to Mrs Snaxmuppet and she agrees... I should just book it and grovel with a nice pressie after... "... always works better for me..." she said
