Which website to tell the tail number of a BA flight in advance?

Hi,

I am sure that I used to have a website to tell me which aircraft we or anyone else would be on a day or two in advance.

Either that website is now different or I have forgotten!!

Probably the latter!!

If anyone can point me in the direction of a website for BA flights that would be appreciated. I think BA Source is only for after the flight.

You may be thinking of www.flightradar24.com, now reachable via www.fr24.com.

This information is not reliably available a day or two in advance, it can change at any time before the flight departs, and sometimes the information will not be shown for a specific flight until it is airborne.

The websites for Amsterdam and Frankfurt airports also have registrations displayed.

Thanks. Signed up. Previously had a trial, so paid my fee. But sadly can't see how to set the alert for a particular flight.

Thanks anyway.

Keep checking back for the flight you're interested in. Some flights show the next two or three days.

I don't think you need to pay to get the information that Trent900 has shown a screenshot of. I've never had a need to subscribe to FR24.

Thanks.

I have in the past received updates with the registration number, maybe the terminal number etc.

perhaps the system changed.

I don't know, but if getting updates like that will help you, then I can see the appeal of subscribing.

Just don't ask a member of BA's staff as apparently the information is Top Secret

Sounds like a similar site to fr24 called Flight Aware

Its not a secret, just subject to change. I regularly fly 3 sectors or more a day when at work. At check in I will get the flight briefing for the day. It is not unusual for the aircraft for the last sector to change from the info I was given 5 hours previously. Why tell you stuff that is highly likely to be wrong and is not really very important to you anyway?
