i don’t believe it’s got anything to do with “special” birthdays or if you are flying on your birthday so unless you are selected by the random number generator I’d prepare to be disappointed.

With over 20 years of BAEC membership and over 15 years at Gold or GGL I haven't ever received any of the various birthday offerings that BA send to some people over the years. I've also flown several times on my birthday (not expecting anything special) but not once has it even been mentioned. So, mirroring other reports here, BA's systems seem to be very selective in who they wish happy birthday to!

I got the email gifting me birthday Avios today... I'm a blue nobody and have only flown using RFS this year but apparently I'm a "valued member of the Club"...
