Haven't a clue about BA sectors - but 2018 will be 175+ sectors, most not on BA but a myriad of carriers. 2017 was ~165, and I think 2016 was ~160. It gets to the point where tracking is impossible particularly when so many changes are made, based on my schedule.

That being said, I would rather not track sector by sector as it just reminds me how often I am away from home and missing important events.

I've flown 19 BA sectors in the last 12 months and I'm guessing that's probably on the low side for this forum.

1 WT
2 WTP
13 ET
3 CE

I don't have the exact number of segments for other airlines to hand but probably about the same again. For sure I've flown at least once on each of AA/QR/U2/EW/FR/PG/IB/BE in the last 12 months.

In 2018, my total is 22 BA flights out of 38 OW flights (AA, AY, KA) in a mix of F/J/Y. I don't have any other OW or BA flight until 2019... unless the intern comes up again with a Viking-like fare

I have also 15 *A flights (A3, LH, SN, TK), with 4 of them still to fly, mostly Y.

A "quiet" year for a leisure traveller

P.S.
I use BA97 to keep track of the flights.

So far 2 BA metal which was a CE return to Vienna that was for some reason cheaper than Easyjet.

Hopefully combination of QR, Emirates booked with QF code and Comair will be enough for silver. Depends on next 3 months really.

Not that much, compared to many on here!
8 BA
4 QR
2 KL (with two more coming up)
1 U2 (with one booked but I no-showed, as my return plans changed)

May eke out a weekend away but thats likely to be it.

2017 was more, with 3 Tallinn runs and several side excursions around the Baltics, plus a trip to BRR.

I dont actually keep an proper log - have been meaning to do so for a while - but have tended to store the flights (with numbers and airport codes) in my calendar for the last 6-8 years. With a bit of scripting I could probably pull out the data.

(I dont think he posts them, from memory, but I am sure stats from @corporate-wage-slave would be interesting! )

This year I've done 4 sectors in one trip on BA and that got me bronze.
I might do another 4 sector BA trip this year and that would get me silver.
I've done a few flights on other airlines this year (easyJet, Brussels Airlines, Air France), but overall a low travel year for me this year.

I'm pretty sure I racked up just 4 BA legs in my previous membership year, which is not bad for a 5000+ point GGL.

In my defence, I'm pretty sure that's the case for many BAEC members who live outside of Europe.

11 airlines this year

to date 2018 on OW airlines over 3 sectors.

BA 11
AY 6
JL 5
QR 4
QF 4
AA 3

I have another 4 on QR and another 4 on QF next week plus a few more on AA end of the year. I might get up to 15 or so on BA by end of 2018.

It's a broad church so I like to spread it around many of its OW partners!

Typically, relatively few considering I manage to (just about!) keep Gold:

- probably 6-8 long-haul BA a year
- 2 AA long-haul
- probably 12-18 short haul BA (of which about 50% will be award flights, and the rest CE fares for work or on a cheap holiday deal)
- probably 6-8 non-OneWorld flights (EasyJet, Lufty or others - mostly short-haul: rarely long-haul other than on BA or AA)

But all long-haul is paid Club or First for work (and normally one a year for leisure) so the TPs rack up quicker

All things told - I probably get to Gold quite efficiently compared to some on here, but I don't really get that many chances to use the benefits!

And I definitely don't feel I actually travel all that much - 6-8 long-hauls a year at most for work, probably one for holiday; the rest being half dozen or so short-hauls for work and another half-dozen for leisure

2018 totals will be;

BA - 51 sectors (49 short haul and 2 long haul)
Cathay - 4 sectors (all long haul)
EasyJet - 4 sectors
Jet2 - 1 sector
Iberia - 1 sector
Air Nostrum - 1 sector

I have another 6 short haul sectors still to confirm but likely to be 4 more BA and 2 more Iberia, so total sectors should be 68 which is less than most years for me.
