BA CityFlyer Club Europe Config

Hi all,

I can't find any information on whether CE on an Embraer 190 is just 2-2 layout - so no empty seat next to you or not? For example on the LIN - LCY route.

Thanks!

CE is 2x2 same as Euro Traveller - not difference at all in seating.

2-2, no empty seat next to you guaranteed, although FLY does try to keep everyone apart as much as possible, plus the usual status element of theoretical seating.

C on CityFlyer is useful for Tier Points and bonus Avios . Apart from better food, you'll find Y on City Flyer perfectly acceptable.

On the 170s there is slightly more legroom in the front third or so of the aircraft.

They are not all the same. Some of them have no 1A & 1B, so I found going for my favourite 2B suddenly I'm in an 'exit' row with a bulkhead a very long way in front, table in the arm rest and no floor/underseat storage.

Only one now, I believe: G-LCYY. See BA Fleet : New aircraft arrivals and retirements master tracker and G-LCYX.

Yes just booked LIN-LCY now, and the seating map shows no row 1 on the right hand side. May I ask one more question please: is there a lounge at LCY?

Hi,

No there is not ( I think there is a private lounge available to pay for but it is expensive ( status does not count)

Regards

That is the standard configuration: 1CD are missing.

The non-standard aircraft is missing 1AB. I suspect that you would only see a seat map showing the non-standard configuration shortly before the flight. And even then, it is liable to change until very close to the departure time of the flight.

So did the hope in this post turn out to be wrong? G-LCYX

Ironically, I can't test that against live seat maps for G-LCYZ because she went to GLA this evening, didn't come back as scheduled and has no flights listed (yet) on FR24 for tomorrow!

Or as BA spin it...
On flights to or from London City and London Stansted that are operated by our subsidiary BA CityFlyer, you will enjoy the same comfortable seat width and a similar legroom in Euro Traveller as in Club Europe.
