Forgot where I parked: LHR T5 Long Term
My usual practice is to send myself a text message of the letter and row aisle number I parked. Flying out last week, I must have forgotten- DOH!
Walking up and down with 2 heavy suitcases is not really an option. Pressing the remote on the fob riding the bus is an option I suppose as is looking out of the plane window as we land to see if I can spot my red car.. done it before and seen my car albeit I knew where I had parked.
Any ideas?

Leave the suitcases in a bus stop and go for a run?

As the car park is patrolled at regular intervals the operator may be able to assist by pin pointing your cars location. The contact number is 0344 335 1000 (from outside the UK, +44 121 410 5228), manned Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 20:00, Saturday, 09:00 to 17:30

Does your phone update your parked car location automatically? Turns out one does but I have no recollection of turning it on.

I had to ride all the different shuttle buses for the lots at EWR. Took a long time but found it.

My vehicle has a locator function in its app.

Instead of text, next time take a photo with the parking sign or prominent feature in the background. Quicker and easier and does not require network.

I lost my car at Westfield for 10 minutes; I just had no recollection of where I had parked it. Since then, and whilst I appreciate this will not help you now, I always take out my phone and quickly snap a picture of the level and row.

If location history is enabled on your phone both iphones and android phones should be able to help with this.

Never misplaced my car but as it is the sort of thing I could do I always write the location on the ticket. However, some car parks don’t issue a ticket!

Delta's mobile app actually has an option to do that- nice to not have that particular picture get lost in the shuffle of a digital camera roll.

Pretty sure there is a Car Park Finder at T5 short term, is there such a thing at the long term?
Edit: I didn't imagine it

By the way, is anyone else reading this and now thinking they can’t actually recall where they parked either... just me? Ah.
