BA CPT-MAD/BCN return in F for £667 - Biltong (now dead)

Did anyone manage to catch this before it was pulled?

Looks like the intern is back!

Sorry Mods - any chance you could change the title to CPT-MAD/BCN? LHR was my mistake - currently sitting in the Flounge and was distracted by Rod Stewart being escorted through to the CCR!

It was actually BCN or MAD rather than LHR - so perhaps Jamon Fare might be equally apt!

I managed to snag one - not sure which I'm more concerned about, BA pulling it or having to explain to the wife why I'm planning on an unnecessary trip to fly to Cape Town twice...

Very much a mouse! Also knowing my luck, I shall broach it with the "Home Secretary" and start something of a diplomatic incident, only for BA to then pull it - thus landing me with the worst of both worlds!

I managed 1 return booking, what's the odds of the fare standing and not being pulled?

This is clearly an error fare - I would not expect BA to honour it. Were it GBP 1,667 then there might have been an argument to challenge any cancellations, but for GBP 667 there is no way.

I doubt BA would want to set a precedent of honouring an F fare for £667.

Clearly yes. But perhaps the window was narrow on this one and not many tickets were issued, they might let it slide. Not placing any bets on it though!

STOP this error nonsense

Flash sales are common - recent - and honoured

How would I know it was an error on BAs part ?

I was thinking of booking this and taking a chance, and then realised I didn't have the heart to stomach 6 weeks of threads threatening legal action if it got pulled.

No point wasting time on this one. Guarantee BA will pull this and not honour booked flights.

I'm in for a return and a one-way. Fingers crossed.

This was not widely spread at all from what I gather. I was lucky to read OMAAT at the right time (no pun intended).
