No such thing (effectively)

Still haven't seen any changes to my booking yet. Getting a bit nervous now because I will need to get the positioning flights book asap.

I’d like to think if the airline chooses to cancel they’d give some discretion on allowing a free cancellation of an avios flight too!

It's been 24 hours sinfe most people booked this. Had a passenger made a mistake, the following would apply.

Your right to cancel within 24 hours
If you notice a mistake with your booking after you have paid for your ticket(s), you may cancel a reservation made on ba.com or through the British Airways call center within 24 hours of ticketing for a full refund by calling the British Airways call center at 800-AIRWAYS provided travel is one week or more from the date of purchase. The 24 hour deadline can be extended up to 48 hours if the call center is closed when you first call.

So why wouldn't it work the same way when it's the other way around?

If this happens too much a court may choose to see it not as an error but as deliberate bait & switch tactics.

Can we all stop with the panic / error / mistake / conspiracy theories and just sit back and wait, All this does it give them more reason to pull the plug, This thread will end up in typical hysteria and be around 20 pages in and have court action etc mentioned . If you don't know the risks don't bother :-)

I've been getting calls from an Indian number yesterday evening and this afternoon, didn't answer and they left blank voicemail. I googled it and it appears to be coming from BA. I've blocked the number now!

They keep calling, I can't have the phone tied up with them calling - maybe 6 calls now this afternoon all without leaving a message.

Or could be completely unrelated, Don't worry your safe blocking the number means they will never get a hold of you
