Checked baggage allowance - BA codeshare on AA metal
Hi
Apologies if this is better asked in the AA forum.
I have a AA flight booked through BA holidays. So all AA flights on BA codes on a 125-stock ticket.
This seems to automatically give 1-piece of checked baggage per person up to 23kg.
As a BA Bronze/Oneworld Ruby am I eligible for a 1-bag waiver on this ticket? If I am presumably this means 2x 23kg is my total allowance?
Thanks

AFAIK there is no additional checked bag allowance for BA Bronze / OWR, BA only grants that to Silver and above. AA waives the checked bag fee for AA Gold (OWR), but that wouldn't apply here. As your first flight on the ticket is marketed by BA, BA decides the checked baggage allowance. So, I think you have 1 bag pp allowed, unless you are in J/F cabin.
Edit - 2nd bag should also apply in Premium Economy on AA, but baggage allowance is set by BA (though BA/AA are largely aligned on checked baggage allowances)
