You must have a very understanding missus.....mine would be asking lots of questions if I travelled that much on my own for leisure.

Small fry compared to some others here. Another 7 flights to go (Mainly TATL) before the year is out and on my retaining silver for another year

Not small fry at all.
To be honest if someone came on here and posted they had only flown the once and it was GLA - BRR I'd be more envious of them than someone who had flown all over the world in F.

2018 will be a thin year ... missing out Hawaii makes a lot of difference to the mileage

Already hard at work for 2019/20 ... the more important Membership Year. looks like 800 on the cards already. Who cares about Annual totals?

Curious, with 100k+ miles already, what do you all do for a job, unless it's all leisure flights? Why do you have to travel so much?

Of whom do you speak?

Some travel monstrous distances for work.
Some retired people travel 50-60k for leisure.
Personal best is 63,825 in 2016 >>> https://my.flightradar24.com/T8191/2016

Some clues may be had here: OT: occupation of BA FTers

A quiet year again due to long work hitches due to being short staffed, 99,499 miles flown and planned, I don't expect to go much over 100k this year.

A number of personal firsts.... I've reached 1 million miles flown since 1997 (what I can remember to log flights), and the first time I've flown trans-Pacific after seven years of UK-AU travels.

I've never kept records for myself, but since becoming a father, I thought I would start doing so for my son (with thanks to various members of this forum for their advice on which service to use).

My 11-month old has flown 79,346 miles in roughly 165 hours via 23 sectors since February. It's unlikely he will travel more before his first birthday next month, so I'd say those are the statistics for his first year on earth (around which he has flown the equivalent of just over three times). We don't plan our travel very far out, so it's difficult to know at this stage what next year will look like.
