Ergh... I've seen better...
Previous silver was quite nice. This one seems from a piece of tapestry. Gold was plain, this version is plain ugly. Bronze is "meh".
Who approved these designs?

We don’t know if these are the new card designs that will be released to the Membership.

Besides the hideous design there's two issues with the cards:
a) it doesn't say British Airways anywhere on the front. At remote stations (and QR@DOH) I had agents trying to enter my BAEC number as EC12345678 or GL12345678 (due to the GL crest). I'd love to see a BA remark somewhere on the card.
b) weren't we supposed to get GfL, GGLfL and CCR identifiers on the cards? Putting something like a GL crest on top of the pattern would render the logos unusable.
You can say what you want about Alex Cruz but I am pretty sure that - if somebody dared to show him these (which are apparently from August based on the EXIF information) - he would have them changed.
