Equipment Change
For those wondering if they will get a refreshed 747 on this route - I've just been notified that our November return flights on BA289/BA288 are now on a 787.

Hi,
Just had a look at a couple of dates and it looks like PHX will be leaving from T5 ( Nov & Dec) . The AA flight continues to use T3

Yeah! I knows the flight is always full for everyday. They will downgrading from 744 to 789 for winter 2019/2020 and later in Spring 2020, it will operated 777-300ER aircraft. I will miss 747 very much.

They will swap for 787-9 Dreamliner from LHR-PHX. They will move to T5 instead of T3. Only in winter 2019-2020.

Full, but profitable? There seem to have been a lot of deals to fill F, so maybe not. As BA pivots to more quality and less volume there’s more of this to come. It’s noticeable how on many routes AA can now charge a premium over BA. As new Club comes in expect BA to move towards the AA fares...
