With Cobalt ceasing operations I wonder if BA would consider making Gatwick-Larnaca year round rather than summer seasonal.

No I do not. I believe Cobalt operated Gatwick to Larnaca not Paphos. At moment BA operates seasonal Gatwick to Laranca. BA also now operates from Gatwick to Paphos most months of the year. I believe this winter it will not operate to Paphos between end of December to early February. It is technically now considered year round depending on demand.

I would be doubtful of this to be honest as BA have already increased LHR-LCA to 10pw this winter and I’d say the Gatwick service is more aimed at the summer holiday travellers.

Wife and I are booked in J, on this service in May 2019. How I can I best search for info on the likely version of 777-200 and what type of IFE it is likely to have?

How many rows in CW does the seatmap show?

Your flight is a long way off so hard to confirm what exactly the registration/configuration will be until 3 days before IIRC when a specific one gets allocated.

More info here:

Being reported on Heathrow Shorthaul Changes Summer 2019 that Gatwick gains Almeria, Bilbao from Heathrow but loses Barcelona, Valencia and Pisa. Earlier today Barcelona was still bookable from Gatwick. Can anyone confirm please? Also some reported increases and decreases in frequencies to some destinations. Bit confusing as some destinations are in both decreasing and increasing frequency lists!
Are there new routes to come as still some Ex Monarch slots to use up? I know some long haul have been increased but not by that many. Any information please?
