British airways lost baggage policy
 

Does anyone have experience making lost baggage claims on british airways? How much do they charge for additional coverge more than their standard of around $2000 per bag? Also do they have a good or bad reputation for baggage handling or baggage loss?

The standard is not $2000 per bag - the liability for lost and/or delayed luggage on its international flights is XRD1131 total regardless of number of bags - approximately USD1,586/GBP1,215

The bag is very unlikely to get lost - can end up delayed, but rarely lost

How much do they charge to cover a bag worth $3000?

I don't know if it will do. You might need to find your own insurance for it

Well their website says you can pay to get additional coverage. Was just wondering if you might have an idea how much.
