I agree probably 788, but most likely out of T5.
BA T3 seems to be A380/747/A32X only, no 777s or 787s. I guess this could be a T3 route but my expectation would be that it is at T5.

Hi,

I think BA uses the A380 on Miami and Vancouver flights from T3 ( seasonal flights with the 747 operating during the remainder of the year)

Regards

According to Japanese media, BA will add Osaka KIX from March 19, 2019.
Will KIX be fully above water and connected to the mainland by then?

What's the link between Osaka and VIE/PRG/BCN? Or why the assumption of T3?

Massive tourist groups I have seen on these routes of Japanese passports.

Do not worry about trains in Japan; they are fast, on time and frequent. There would be no problem getting back to Tokyo from Osaka.

They are however expensive. If you are doing more than one trip the Japan Rail Pass makes train travel a lot cheaper although you cannot use the very fastest trains with it.

AY will also increase HEL-KIX flights from 7 to 10 times aweek so the OW flights between Europe and KIX will be doubled next summer. That is great.

That's excellent news, would be great to see some JAL flights to Europe expand - either the FRA to 773 with F or add a new option, eg VIE would be amazing wishful thinking I know...

Even the fastest one is rather cheap compared to a peak ticket in the UK for a similar distance purchased on the day of departure, actually.

They do not have peak/off-peak pricing, and advance purchase doesn't save much, but Tokyo - Osaka (approx. 350 miles) by Shinkansen is 14,450 yen (c. £100), full fare on the day. London Euston to Manchester (approx. 200 miles) on Virgin Trains is over £169 (!!) full fare on the day, during peak time.

T3 see’s some 777-200ERs, such as NBO this winter. MIA/YVR A380. Otherwise it’s all (mid-J?) 747 & A320/A320NEO.

I’d imagine this on a 787-8 too, so most likely T5 for the best connections.

That's because you spend your time in T5 subsidising the dying domestic LBA shuttle
KARFA and squawk like this.

Could've sworn I saw a BA Press Release confirming this but can't find it and recently cleared out my trash bin so not in their either. Will certainly be a good revenue grab for the rugger if nothing else.

Also bear in mind, you have to pay extra for reserved seats, which is highly advisable given the number 'reserved' carriages compared with 'non-reserved'. This is especially the case if travelling in a group.
