How early can I hit the airport - HLO
I have a few flights over the coming months leaving between 1800 and 1900 on a Friday. Now keeping in mind I don't want to take the afternoon off I was hoping to head to the airport over lunch and work from the lounge.
So if I'm traveling HLO, how early can I get landside?

I think it may confuse some but I'll assume you mean HBO.
Depends on the airport, mostly. I haven't had any trouble passing security early in any airport I visited, however, some lounges have a 3 hour maximum policy (i.e. GVA where it gets pretty crowded). In London, you'll be completely fine, but you may get some lounge dragons to pity you and mention you should talk to the ticketing desk to see what they can do for you

I do this on a semi-frequent basis.... arrive around 13:00-14:00 for flights 16:30-19:00. Makes life extremely easy, just don't blast any calls to the entire lounge please.

I’m in DAR right now. Here, there is no access to the airport before the check-in counter opens (usually 3 hrs. before departure). And only access to the airport for ticketed passengers. Tickets are checked at a security checkpoint at the airport entrance.
