Upgrading a flight with avios that has been booked through BA vacations
Hi
So I booked a flight in premium economy (booking class T) and would like to upgrade to club world (i checked and there is availability)
I called the gold line to do it, but they told me another department handles it (BA vacations) and they are currently closed for another 10 hours and to call them
Anyone knows if these fares earn tier points and if they are upgradeable with avios?
Thanks

BA holidays should be able to upgrade your flights using Avios if you have enough and if there is reward availability in CW. You will earn tier points and avios for the cabin you have booked (i.e. WTP). If you want to earn CW tier points you will need to pay whatever BA currently want for the upgrade. J

Thank you.
That thread you posted the link mentions that you can upgrade with avios through "manage my booking (MMB)" online, and that certainly isn't a possibility in this case
i get prompted to call the BA vacation line. I guess i will wait when they reopen again.

You will need to call BA Holidays for an avios upgrade. See:
