We are planning to spend a few days in Copenhagen between disembarking the cruise and flying home. So 10:45 am departure with 5+ hours layover at LHR sounds best to us.

codeshares can also be a little problematic when waiting for FF credit to post.
eg AA coded flight operated by BA and credited to
BAEC generally takes longer to post than a BA coded flight operated by BA and credited to BAEC.
Best to book under the operating carrier's code where possible, unless a codeshare is significantly cheaper.
