Checked bag allowance

Next week my wife and I are flying NAP-LGW. Online we see that BA allows us one checked bag each. I'm AA lifetime Platinum and thus One World Sapphire, so we actually get two checked bags each. What's the best way to get this recognized in advance so that we don't have to deal with it at the airport? Thanks!

If you have not done so already then add your AA membership number to the booking.

I need to ask on this same topic please... can anyone please advise:

travelling in club world = 2 x 32kg bags per person.
i am OW Sapphire - I am confused reading the BAEC baggage details - do I actually get an increased luggage allowance / extra bag, or is this only if I were flying in economy? I’m sure I must be interpreting it t incorrectly! Every other OW airline give increased luggage in all cabins so it must be the case right ?!

With OW Samphire the extra bag only applies to economy

See the section for 'extra allowances for Exec Club and O/W members

thanks - that’s what I thought from reading it - bizarre, surely the extra baggage should apply to all classes!
hey ho...
