Combine Avios error "Your session has timed out, please log in again"

Combine Avios error "Your session has timed out, please log in again"

Whenever I attempt to "Combine Avios" on the BA or IB sites I receive the error "Your session has timed out, please log in again".

I've seen several mentions of this problem on other threads, but not much follow-up. Is there a known way to get this problem resolved?

Not sure if its related, but they seem to be having big systems issues today, certainly on redemption bookings

Also failing to make any headway with Redemption bookings on any device / browser... Sat in GF and cancellations starting to roll in for later in the day (SH / Domestic) but doubt they are linked.

I’ve been trying to transfer Avios from BAEC to Iberia for a few days now and always get the same error message about my session timing out.

If I login to Iberia to do a transfer, it tells me I don’t currently meet the terms and conditions, but there is no way of finding out why.

My personal details on both websites are correct so have no idea why I can’t do a transfer.

Is anyone aware of a quick and pain free alternative to logging in to BA?

Edit - login through Chrome. Worked straight away.

Chrome didn’t help me. Same error. Anyone have a solution? I’ve tried safari and chrome

I get that same error message on my iPad (safari ), but it works fine on my laptop (chrome).

Keep trying.....

Is that using an iPad? Because if so it’s all the same browser engine on the IPad no matter what it’s called, Chrome Safari, Firefox etc.

Yeah that’s the same thing I’m afraid, affects anything running IOS.

Thanks all, a laptop worked fine!

Qatar is running a promotion for a 40% bonus for transfering bank points into their program, so Citi Thank You Points to Qatar to BA to Iberia will get me across the pond next year in business for a great price.
