Is there that much call for aircon at EDI? I appreciate the recent warm weather but short of streams of water landing on pax heads( a potential actual issue I accept) is it really a valid reason for closing an entire lounge. I'd be sending an email in the hopes if some avios for your inconvenience at least. No voucher BA is going to issue me will ever come close to my consumption value in a lounge.

BA Aberdeen Lounge closed today
Be aware the ABZ lounge is closed today (Mon July 30) due to an AirCon failure (apparently temps of >30C).. Vouchers for Costa etc as compensation are available from the gate agent. Not sure if this will be quickly fixed today or drag on a bit.

I thought the BA lounge was shut for refurb anyway? Been a while since I looked in there, so excuse me.
18C+ all day here in the north can indeed build to some uncomfortably high temperatures in enclosed areas.
Weather wan't so great around July 30th but only a few days before my patio thermostat , in sheltered sunny area, was showing 36C.

Yeah but it’s not EDI, its ABZ!🤪
