Was on the 662 on 19/11 pulled out taxi toward runway.......flaps in and taxied back to gate as there was another fault. 1.5 hour delay. Sorry to see them go as more comfortable than the A320 but hated the reliability.

I was on 902 today and one of the cabin crew described it as a “refitted A321 for replacing the daily 767” - any idea what that meant? It looked like any other BA airbus A319/A320 that I had flown on, only difference was an old school manual safety demo rather than the latest version of the Comic relief video.
Have to say I miss the 767 already!

Looks like it's been an emotional sendoff.. Many happy memories from sitting in the 767 thrones.
Not sure if it's of any value, but maybe the captain of this BA633 flight would like a pictorial memento. No idea who it is, but I'm guessing this is the best place to drop this shot!

British Airways retires B767
British Airways retires B767
Can't wait for them to retire the 747 ... bring on the new planes!
British Airways has retired the last of its B767s, nearly 30 years after it took delivery of the first of the Boeing aircraft.
The carrier’s final B767 flights took place over the weekend between London Heathrow and Larnaca in Cyprus.
British Airways took delivery of the first of its 28 B767s in 1990, having selected the aircraft over rival Airbus’ A300-600, and used them on routes to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
The carrier has provided Business Traveller with the following regarding its B767 fleet:
“Since British Airways operated its first 767 in February 1990 on a short hop to Paris, the fleet of aircraft have completed over 425,000 commercial flights.
“Frankfurt was the route where enthusiasts could spot the 767 most frequently, with the aircraft completing nearly 15,000 flights to and from the airport, but the aircraft has also been used to serve routes from Abu Dhabi, to Calgary and New York.
“While it was initially used for long-haul, in recent years it has been reconfigured for use on short-haul, including to Athens and Larnaca as well as on some domestic routes.”
BA’s final B767 commercial flight took place on aircraft reg G-BZHA. This aircraft first flew in 1998 and has flown an estimated 23 million miles. It visited Larnaca 900 times in its life, but its most popular route was Athens, where it completed 1,275 round trips. BA estimates that this aircraft has carried around four million customers across nearly 23,000 flights.
Commenting on the retirement of the B767 from the fleet, British Airways Director of Flight Operations, Captain Al Bridger, said:
“The 767 has been a brilliant part of our fleet, flying some of our most popular routes and giving customers what was an industry-leading service in its time. It’s fitting that as the final 767 leaves the fleet, we take our 30th delivery of another industry-leading aircraft, the 787, which offers customers an exceptional experience in the skies.”

i have mixed feelings about the 767 retirement i wont miss the shabby interior and tiny overheads on my regular LCA trips but will miss the center seats in Club Europe compared to A320 seats . I do miss the old long haul 767's from the late 90's/ early 2000's which had 8 first seats which i used to use on my DAR runs.
