St Athan is the airport. Wee bit surprised that BZHA/B/C are going there given they are at least 10 years younger than BNWA/B who went there recently.
I guess the Rolls Royce engines are the issue.

The most recognisable wingtip in the fleet

#byebye767

Last MAD service this morning - crew sad to see them go, mainly due to the loss of work space in the NEOs that are replacing them. Apparently the A350 is imminent; early next year at the latest with familiarisation flights being planned on EU routes served by long haul aircraft.

Return flights to EDI available tomorrow available for Ł84 in Y if you don't mind a 7.50am 767 flight on a Sunday morning! I think i'm going to make a day of it and go for lunch in town.

Last FRA-LHR 767 coming into Heathrow today (Saturday). Not a seat to be had (okay many 'ordinary' pax), me in 35K. Taxi at FRA along the Terminal buildings, smooth ride over, G&T in hand (just - 20 mins before landing). Beautiful flight over London and perfect touch down. My last 767 flight after more than 100++ of them with more than 80 TATLs... . (BTW, this trip was just a coincidence, really. ).

What a cracking day out - Ł75 return flights, great breakfast at LHR T5B, smooth flight, brilliant day wandering the sights of Madrid (definitely somewhere to return to), Royal Palace - wow! Easy to get around, at the airport in half an hour, nice showers in the T4S lounge and now there are 8 reds and 4 whites to choose from, along with a wide range of nibbles and Haagen Dazs. Thank you, 767!

Just waiting at T5 for my last 767 flights. Due to little free time before they go I am doing a LHR-ARN and straight back.

Flew my last BA 767 flight 6 days ago, LHR-ARN. Will miss these birds. They have been a consistent feature in my travels since 2006.
How did the b2b go Karfa?

b2b was fine. I am familiar with ARN but never done a b2b there. Basically up the stairs and press the button at the transfer door, about 5 minutes later a security officer turned up and checked my onward bp, opened the small security room and scanned my bags and through the X-ray machine, and then out in to the gate area. Very easy I think.

msm2000uk posted a few photos as well in the b2b thread for anyone not familiar with the airport https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29180572-post2011.html
