Who is Group 3?
Waiting for my flight just now, and astonished by the group 1 line being absolutely massive, group 2 about half that size, group 3 completely empty and groups 4&5 absolutely massive again.
And no, staff strictly enforcing the lines and sending people to the line printed on their BP.

You could be bronze but be flying in club (or F) so would get the group based on cabin rather than status
How many of the masses in group 1 were actually flying in economy?
I saw it a few weeks ago on a flight to AMS - there were dozens boarding in Group 1 yet only 6 of us in CE - and yes they were enforcing the groups

This is possibly the nicest thing anyone has said about me all day... I rarely see many people in group 3. To be fair, group 4 probably has even less!

The problem previously arose when "Priority Boarding" used to be listed and announced as "Gold Silver and Bronze". When the current Group Boarding scheme was introduced that problem vanished ... where it was enforced.

I'm rather hoping our Prem contributor's tongue was firmly in his cheek ....
There's a substantial meme in this forum that has service levels aligned to cut off just below the contributor's membership level, leaving the hoi polloi to flounder in his wake. Not just a Prem thing: it echoes down the line..
Something like the "I look down" sketch of all those years' back
