JFK CCR Closing Time - BA182
Taking the BA182 in a few weeks (2300hrs departure from JFK).
I have read somewhere that the JFK CCR closes at 2200hrs. As I generally like to leave the lounge as late as possible, will the CCR close at 2200 on the dot or will there be any leeway?

I think they will make the boarding call for BA 182 and then start ushering people out. You may have a few minutes of leeway but you'll be expected to board.

Thanks for the replies. Yes the Oneworld site states 2300, the info I got was from https://www.loungebuddy.com/JFK/brit...l-7-SD75E5I4jV which states it opens at 3pm and closes at 10pm.

.. and they stay on if the 182 is delayed. They don't look particularly happy about it, but they do stay on

I took this flight not very long ago and it was delayed by about an hour, there were only 5 or 6 of us in the CCR at that point but they allowed us to stay until a few minutes before the boarding started.

Ccr to close
Good morning friends.
I have a flight next month through jfk and recall now that the ccr is supposed to close its doors.
Are there any updates on how long it will be open? The new terminal was supposed to open on Dec 1st. But will they keep the ccr until then?
What's the check-in situation? Can we use the ba first until then? Thnx

Why would the CCR close before Ba operations do? It’s the whole airline which is moving so lounges are largely simple consequential
components here. I can imagine a potential issue if the move is delayed at the last minute and contracts have been ended already, but for any trip before official switching date or indeed if there is a delay confirmed sufficiently early, I don’t think it will be a problem,

I understand from the CCR staff last night that the change over to T8 starts on November 8th with the morning departure, and all flights will have moved by early December
