Wiki started to track the FTers who have taken up the CPT companion fare for the purpose of potential meet-up / DO in CPT where there is an overlap with FTers.

Given these are 14 seat cabins, BA isn't going to fill them to the brim with promo. There might be 6 seats per cabin per flight or something like that (guess figure, but I've seen it saying "5 left at this price").
Best bet: start a search Saturday to Saturday, then keep adjusting the goalposts by one day a piece until the price comes into play. You have until midnight tomorrow (10th July) to get the extra BA Holidays discount.

For inbound there are several options, all with 8 seats available returning via JNB on 10th
Go via BA Holidays to add Flight plus Car to get cheaper prices

Then go out and go via the BA Holidays link, and choose flight and car. Choose your dates that you know have availability and you should see the cheaper price with slight increases depending on which car you select. You can alter the flight time at the top of that screen to ensure you get the flight time you want (if it has seats)
That worked for me, saved me 500 quid.
edit. I see wcel beat me to it.

Was planning to book QR, but this was a lot cheaper, so Mrs E2S and me are off in Jan 1AK
My niece & her hubby have booked for March - no status, so they have 5A/4A. They have always travelled at the back of the bus, so an absolute treat for them, pity CPT goes from T3, as I'm sure they would have loved using the CR

Still chewing this one over, but the timing of the deal doesn’t really fit well.
