We're Dec 8-24, but this time we're bypassing C.T. completely. Hermanus, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch in that order!

OP has 200k VS miles to throw at it.
SA are an airline partner of VS even though not a *A member.

Some notes about ex-AMS fares: The cheapest ones require 60 days AP, so keep an eye on that deadline. If you can fly the first sector (AMS-LON) by 15 September, you can use a cheap AMS-CPT fare - although the stopover before your first long-haul flight would then attract a €100 stopover fee plus UK APD, so you will have to calculate whether this is worth the time saving if you can then book the LON-CPT non-stops. And do keep an eye on the 60d AP deadline if you are going to do this. Finally, consider routing through DUR in one direction; you may like the fares that you see as a result.
