Good to see the old BA 737s back at LGW for Titan/BA

G-DOCT last seen heading to the retirement sun at VCV about three years ago has returned as G-POWS in Titan livery at LGW doing revenue work to AMS and JER for its former operators (according to BA Source). Hope it's had a nice cabin refit

Keep the cabin, it was comfortable with decent seat pitch..... it’s the rest of it that is fairly aged!
First flight December 11, 1992

We flew on G-POWS from ACE in March. The cabin was nice and roomy but you could tell that it was an old plane.

I'm on that a week on wednesday to Nice. Was bumped off an Eastern Airways E170 for it, and noted the 737 also covers easyJet flights.

Were they like the current Comair-operated BA 737s inside, or a different layout?

Are the Comair 737 400s ex BA LGW? Just flown on two sectors...those machines i flew were frankly falling apart...leg room yes, but dirty, seats yucky, ceiling suspect and in need of much TLC. TBH did not think much of the service either! The banana left in 1f was a nice enhancement...nearly sat on it so obviously not even cleaned from previous sector.

Some but not all. I don't know how up-to-date Airfleets is, but that lists seven -400 series aircraft for Comair, 3 of which are originally ex-BA (the former G-DOCC, G-DOCJ and G-DOCK). One more seems to have come via BA (as G-BVNM), although originally an Air Europe aircraft. Other sources are Malaysian (identifiable by the internal placards in the toilets, for example) and Qantas.

The only one I ever flew (G-DOCL from MAN-LGW on 12/16/2007) is now flying for something called Atlantic Airlines.

Which aircraft are you referring to?

I think he is referring to the Titan B737 which also flies for Easyjet at Berlin.

Yeah, the -400s can be pretty grim, but the -800s are great, I think. I've found the service on the JNB-CPT route on the whole very good.

If I've read the reg correctly (OAV? - and FR24 says she was at LVI on 7 July), it looks like that's an aircraft that was originally with MH.
