EDI-LCY Catering

Flying next week BA8715 EDI-LCy at 1040. What in-flight catering is served in CE at that time?

Likewise on return BA8714 LCY-EDI at 1920. Won’t have a lounge to stock up on food so if anyone can advise...much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Outbound will be cold meal rotation 3: choice of crayfish tail, cucumber and tomato salad or cured cold cut meat selection (bresaola, salami, prosciutto) with olives and sunblushed tomatoes, with warm rustic bread, and dessert (blueberry cheesecake).

Return will be the same.

my recent LCY EDI LCY experience is king prawns over glass noodles or pulled beef over salad - both cold.

I only did EDI-LCY (I went LHR-EDI) but that was indeed the combination earlier this month.

I enjoyed the prawns (3 large-ish prawns).

For the sake of completion, here is the other possible menu on these flights:

Peppered mackerel fillet with egg, feta cheese and tomato salad with an Italian dressing
or
Smoked duck breast with egg noodle, mandarin, spring onion and sesame seed salad with a lemongrass and chilli dressing

The smoked duck breast with egg noodles is really really delicious. I had it on both flights GLA-LCY-GRX.
LCY-GRX also included a small starter on the bread plate of ham wrapped asparagus and beetroot hummus.
