Had an invite for this but can’t attend as travelling all week - my first invite ever too so would love to know the selection criteria - think it’s more a tombola than list!

Also got the invite so will try go as the last time I went to one (Mandarin Oriental) it was not good so would be interesting to see what has changed..... agree the invite is all a but last minute and the venue in the city is random but hey ho!

T-UK, you're joking!! Years ago used to get regular invitations to events. Since GGLFL (four years ago), nada. OK, I live in GVA but am frequently in LON, or could rearrange a trip.

From the two above that have been invited and can’t go, maybe BA has only invited people they know are away so they can enhance the GGL drinks with no-one attending

Genuinely wonder if blunt feedback gets you screened out. I have an EC1 address, reckon I am pretty close . Quite within their rights to screen of course, whether this is value based or behavioral. Out of the country so would not have worked this time and, in all honesty would rather make an FT do than this event - for as long as they have been doing this sort of thing it certainly is not influencing management behavior.

So what is this "very non descript location"? The venues used in the past have been very good.
