What a/c is this?

Hi all

travelling back from MAD on Saturday in CE. What a/c is this and where are the missing rows?!

I thought it was a one-off, but it looks like the issues I encountered at MAD on the 777 service are ongoing.

I'm sure there are those who fly it more regularly who can advise, but the check-in agent told me many passengers have complained about OLCI for the service because it trips over itself.

You've likely got a 4 class 777 which is why the errors.

From the title, I was hoping for a variation of the "Name that Seat" thread, but this looks like it has less mileage...

Is it BA 461? This I think British Airways B777-200ER 14F/48J/40W/124Y Seat Map

Does the BA App merge the seat rows? GDS shows first being 4 rows of 4 in 1st (Rows 1,2,3,4) and then Club from Row 10.

Only 2K & 4E&F showing taken. Can you book into the first 4 rows?

All I can book is what you see above?

so rows 2 and 4, are sorta the combined first class? Or just an error?

I can select rows 2 and 4, but technically they don’t exist I suppose?

As a guess what you see as 2A would in fact be 1A on the aircraft, 2B would be 2A.

Im on this flight on Saturday too and cannot see rows 2 and 4 when I go to seat selection. It looks pretty empty at the moment so doubt they will use the F cabin in anycase.

Answer is I don't know - msm may know the answer if the same happened to him/her. There is a bug somewhere in there!

I for example could book 1,2,4 A,E,F,K and row 3A&K on the flight. The BA app is not allowing you to book rows 1&3, so i'm not sure how the merge would allocate you seats.

Empty WTP showing as bookable for economy.

There's a bit about this at the end of the 777 seating thread and also the Flub thread. We don't have (as far as I know) a mapping of the First cabin, but someone travelling on the 777-200 with ExpertFlyer could do this by checking after some seat selections. Presumably 2A is really 1A, and 4K=4K but in between it's a bit of extrapolation. However one needs to proceed with caution since this map has to show to allow OLCI to work, but Flub is only used to the minimum extent needed, at least in theory, and hence the risk of seat shifting. Hence the risk of teeth gnashing when things happen / don't happen.

It’s showing as unable to make changes contact your local office at the moment so shall stick where we are until OLCI I suppose

Actually it is allowing selection of 2A and 4A, so obviously the relative seat number do correlate, this is shown on expert flyer too.

Seems a risk to select though when not looking too busy

Quite, especially when people get what they actually paid for

Not the BA461, it’s the BA 777, the IB A340 I came on which was listed clearly.

I had this 2 weeks ago, I am pretty sure it is an error. It was there for a day or two and then gone. I didn't risk selecting a seat in that area.
