A Manifest Fare Filling error by the airline, so they are going to have to refund the fare

Mine is still displayed in the app, but when I click in, it says the booking has gone.
Out of interest, are they allowed to cancel in this manner?

Mine still looks fine, but for how long I wonder. Which OTA did you use?

I used Omega travel. I haven’t had any contact from the OTA.

So my booking has disappeared from the App.

No contact from Omega or BA. It’s just vanished.

£200ish is not unthinkable for direct TLV flights from London. Is this really a 'manifest' error?

I am going to say this - I have often wondered when these sort of incidents occur, whether they caught on because of all the noise on here? We can never prove that, of course, but I do wonder nevertheless. Promotions and sales are one thing, but mistakes are another. I remember those feeding frenzies over some of those error fares - the Scandinavian one comes to mind. I forget which country it was, but it did cause a lot of upset. That is not a criticism of anyone, but I do wonder whether we kill these in our eagerness?

That said, I am indebted to some of the wrinkles that have been unearthed here and for some of the help and advice freely and willingly given to me.

There was a wonderful post on FT a while back about how FTers react to 'Mistake' fares.

I think we're now up-to Stage 5, whereby those who had booked, and now questioning whether it really was an error (Manifest Filing Error).

Stage 6, I believe, is the threat of legal action, usually presided and enforced by those with no legal background!

this is hardly an obvious/manifest error though. There were comparable fares on other carriers in Y to TLV on the same dates I booked.
