I don't know about a 'mistake' but I regularly see and book flights through OTAs (including Omega Travel.) that are significantly cheaper than those listed on BA.com. Haven't had any problems but accept that any errors with details or changes won't be an option.

Flights appear instantly in MMB as soon as I get the flight number and add BAEC number and can book seats, pre order food etc. AVIOS and tier points credited with no problems. The main downside is there is seems to be less option for upgrades but not impossible, however I have been offered a POUG near the time in one case.

I wouldn't if there difference was only about £20 or so but the difference in a WTP to the far east was significant ( a few hundred) and as I am usually on a client imposed budget the difference between flying WT and WTP.

Terribly sorry to imply you might have loaded a 'mistake fare'.

Two of us posted yesterday we're on board; myself here , @Scallywag72 here . Also, I interprete @Innocent Abroad posting here as being interested to join us in TLV, arriving from HAM.

If two's a party and three's a crowd, 9-10 certainly qualifies a DO.

Has anyone done some research regarding hotels? Quickly browsing Sheraton & Hilton showed prices way higher than the flight cost, but this time, that standard might not be applicable .
Arriving 03.20, I guess two nights will be needed.

Thanks, @onobond. Yes, I would love to join any gathering in Tel Aviv and would be more than willing to arrange something in my backyard, AKA Jerusalem.

I'm going to ask the Israeli Tourism Authority in London to check with their contacts whether my name is still on their 'list' of dodgy geezers before booking a hotel.

I might spend 2 nights locked in a cell otherwise.

Not much fun, for sure. On the positive side is the substantial savings on Hotel costs, though

Making a mistake by missing a space before quoting the post from Scallywag72, thus making the computer choose the poster profile instead of the correct post #97 . Corrected in my post as above too. Sorry for confusing anyone.

Welcome to FT!

Out of interest what makes you say that? Just looking at mine it still ok and ticketed.

As this was a specific TA offered fare which wasn't available from BA would it not be the TA who would cancel it in any case?
