Name That Seat! Thread - Guidelines

The aim of the game is to guess the seat number and aircraft type from a quirky/fun photo of (or from) a seat on a BA-operated flight in the current fleet.* There ought to be at least one clue of some sort in the photo, so we don't - for example - run the risk of endless Economy seat guesses.

There are only three rules to follow:

1) Photo posters: remember to keep it to one 'live' photo at a time (i.e. check that the last photo posted has been guessed correctly before posting another).
2) Guessers: you must guess a seat number and aircraft type.

3) Guessers: in the event of a wrong guess, please wait a minimum of 10 minutes before guessing again (i.e. let someone else have a chance at guessing before you do so again).

Good luck!

* Depending on how popular the thread is, we might - in the future - open it up to seats on aircraft types retired from the current BA fleet.

it’s a 200 then. 300 has 16 rows.

I'm very happy to entertain this idea. I worry it expands the wiki header too much, and also - looking at the Where in the world am I? thread - I wonder whether anyone cares too much. For now, I feel this is a comparatively young thread which has got off to a good start, generally out of non-competitive goodwill. That and bonkers knowledge!

I shared this thread with my wife and I’m not sure if she’s laughing or crying. She’s aware of the Where in the world thread, and she asked if the lack of requiring aircraft registrations as part of the contest was a way to prevent KARFA from winning every time.

As the cleaners will testify, finding a hoover socket on a BA plane is very tough! Sadly in this case it’s not that, and not 62a on a 747!

I usually end up in 1A on the LBA-LHR hop. It looked very familiar!

Plus, since you would be on that route too sometimes.........

Bumping post to get this thread back into the mainstream, as it's the weekend and someone might want some (non-football related) light diversion.
As to the unsolved post #270 , It's a favoured seat on the short haul network. I'll give it until lunchtime and then reveal to give someone else a chance.

Just bumping the photo, to make it easier. It's not 1A on one of those short-haul Airbus thingies?

I'm in awe of the level of precision as to aircraft type!!

It's not 1A, arguably a preferred place amongst the cognescenti on the SH network. You might even refuse an upgrade to stay here!

This one shouldn't be that hard. This panel is always falling off!
