After hours events

Hi all,

just wondering if any of you have attended one of BA's after hours events before and if you found it to be interesting/worth the cost. I am considering buying a ticket for the July event and wondered if Id better spend the £60 on something else

thanks

Bea

I am going to Ham Yard purely for the purposes of writing about it, so you can chat to me if no-one else!

I had similar thoughts to you so thought I would investigate. Tax write off for me though :-)

And welcome Flyertalk and the BA forum dp1586. Whether you go to the event or not, it would be good to see more of you here. Welcome on board.

Never even heard of these - are they invite only? (and if so, invite only but paid? hmmm)

I've seen them advertised in 'The Club' magazine (online) so I guess if you read that you're invited.

I can honestly say that I have never read it. Had a look in the last one however and can't see anything advertised.

Will keep my eyes peeled in future now.

It’s hidden away at the bottom of the Nashville article.

It was in last month's issue (May) but I'm not able to URLs as I'm a newbie.

I;ve been tempted by them before but never attended

Judging by the comments above, probably not many attending from here

We attended the Mauritius event at the i360 in Brighton, we each bought a strip of raffle tickets, and walked away with a pair of CW flights to Mauritius 😃

So definitely worth it IMHO. Outside of the big win the food was also good and there seemed to be a bottomless supply of booze, so it was all in all a bloody good evening!

We’ll be at the Ham Yard event... quite fancying a trip to Nashville

The ham yard event includes a cocktail on arrival, 2 glasses of wine or beer, food bar and one game of bowling. Whether the same limits were in place in Brighton, I don’t know. No mention of a chance to win CW tickets at that one though...
