I had 3 x 20k when I first logged in this morning. Thought it must be 20k each for self, wife and daughter.
Started looking at spending them at lunchtime, and 2 of the 20k's have disappeared. I'm pretty sure I had wife and daughter on at least a couple of my redemption bookings over this period - anyone know enough about the settlement to know if they pay out per person if it was a family booking(s)?

I was offered the choice of 35,000 avios or $955 cash. Obviously, I chose the cash, and am still waiting for the check. Oddly enough, my spouse's BAEC account received 20,000 avios this morning, even though she was never notified of the settlement and never registered on the litigation website (we assumed that I was receiving all of the settlement benefits because of our Household Account).
Now I am confused.

Received an email from BA earlier and 12,500 Avios are in my account re Dover -v- British Airways. I am domiciled in the UK. Haven't lived in the US for over 20 years. Never been a US citizen. Never joined this class action - assumed this was for US citizens only.
(Although I did receive some cash a few years ago for some sort of action which I think was fuel surcharge related on flights to/from the US - was that at all related?)
Christmas come early?

Got an email today - 20,000 avios deposited. I believe the cash option has long expired, but I wasn't aware of the action (except very vaguely), so I guess I'll take the miles.
Hmm - we've always traveled using avios from my Household account. I don't suppose the other members of the account will receive anything, right?
In any event, I gave up using BA for TATL travel because of the ridiculous YQ charges, They do come in handy, though, for AA redemptions and the short haul/fixed charge flights within Europe.
Oh well ... better than sharp stick in the eye/
