Prices up at a very TP runnable £767 for 400TPs. Quoted as LHR->HEL, HEL->GIB and mirror on the multi city tool. Nothing particularly challenging either.

Just a quick heads up for anyone considering booking here that GIB is in the current three day flash sale that ends at midnight tonight - you can get BA490 out on the Saturday and BA491 back on the Sunday for £83 until then! BA491 also books into N for extra TPs / UUA possibility.

I'm thinking about joining as Gibraltar is on my list of places to see. Just a few questions though:
1. If I connect in LHR, do I need to enter the UK at LHR since Gibraltar is a UK territory?
2. If the answer to #1 is no, then if I'm flying multiple carriers (FI to BA) and check a bag, since they don't interline will I have to enter to UK to pick up the bag? If the answer to #1 is yes, then I might have to find a different itinerary since the line/queue to cross the UK border is usually very long.
3. What's the best place to get the best view of planes crossing the road at the airport? Do I take the cable car to the top of the rock?

I always wanted to go to this kind of DO to meet other FT'er (to be honest, 2 years ago I didn't even know that the word existed). Previous dates didn't really fit but this timing would be fine.
I think I just need that little push, rather shy and not much of a talker :-(
Anyone else flying in from BRU? (could consider LUX too)
BTW: I think I will pay to sit upfront (3 hours in Y?), flights priced at £345, worth to upgrade/use avios? BRU-LHR on avios anyway.

No idea yet, but I have a plan to be somewhere on the rock to spot a later plane arriving from London 😉

No, if you do an airside transfer ar LHR, you'll clear immigration at GIB only. You'll only pass security at LHR.
You'll have to clear immigration (pretty quick with European/EEA passporr as one can use the e-gates), collect your luggage, go to Terminal 3 departures and check in your luggage, then security.

For me the best place to see the planes land is the roof of our office :-) otherwise plan to be at the gates to cross the runway about 10minutes before it is due to land :-) and stand an watch the planes land and take off..
