We imagine that for some the prospect of a run up the rock as the sun begins to rise will certainly be foremost in their thoughts. For others, a few extra hours in bed will be the order of the day. As for the more hard core, they may only get into bed as others are getting up to head to the airport, as was the case in PHX.Please feel free to make your own plans, but a nice spot of brunch may be the order of the day. If anybody has any ideas or suggestions, please do say, and we will see what can be sorted.

Not too fussy where or the type of food... I would like to add my thanks to madfish and his "team" for what is clearly a logistical nightmare!
Did anything come of the boat trip Sunday morning or is that not practical?

Unfortunately I'm now booked on a work trip that's taking me to the US over this weekend so I'll be unable to attend. Shame really as I was looking forward to it, the only consolation is the work trip is 760TP up from the 20TP to GIB!!
I do have a room at the HIX, if anyone is in need of accommodation then PM me.

Getting closer and looking forward to it. I’m on the later flight but it seems my ticket is a plus fare so might see about going out on the earlier one.

Is is it worth also asking the hotel if we can have an A frame board and some post it’s and markers somewhere in the lobby that we can write updates and leave messages as well?

Just FYI all, folks - Sat 23rd is the day of Gibraltar Vs Rep of Ireland in the Euro 2020 soccer qualifiers. So I (and probably 1-2000+ other boys in green will be in GIB that weekend too :-)
Game is on Sat pm I think. I'm staying in the Seabourn and would love to say Hi to the group at some point. Planning to arrive Sat am and leave Sun pm, likely on the evening flight to LHR.

Just FYI all, folks - Sat 23rd is the day of Gibraltar Vs Rep of Ireland in the Euro 2020 soccer qualifiers. So I (and probably 1-2000+ other boys in green will be in GIB that weekend too :-)

This explains why apparently no one is interested in taking large restaurant bookings. It also focuses the mind a little about eating and drinking plans that night.
