I wasn’t going to be so specific, but didn’t realise it has been picked up in the media.
Though this does align with what others here have said about members of the royal family traveling “incognito” - don’t make a big fuss, and slip them away before people notice.

OneWorld - Aer Lingus

Slight link to the Royals but quite amazing small story a NAPS (National Air Police Service) got quite a fright at the royal wedding on Saturday whilst surveying the crowds...an Aer Lingus jet passes under their footage.

Sky news claim its a helicopter cam footage. I’m not sure what altitude they would all be at...

p.s I didn’t think this would get much attention on the Aer Lingus forum! Hence here.

I can't find the tweet anymore, but I believe they said they were at 8000ft and the Aer Lingus was 1500 - 2000 ft.

I guess (depending on the levels the security go to for the Royal Family) it could have been a high altitude drown or top secret satellite footage...maybe that’s just the Bond, James Bond in me

I wonder what the legend himself would say about BA.

They did - but only for 15 minutes while the bride arrived at the chapel doors.

Sat beside Sarah, Duchess of York yesterday on BA271 to Las Vegas. I know she is technically 'ex Royal family', but she got escorted to her first class seat just before doors closing and was met by a special services member on arrival.

"Airmiles Andy" doing a redemption for 'Friends and Family', perhaps?
