Aberdeen British Airways Lounge

New lounge open this morning. Immediate bad news is no rowies! Apparantly they will come though. No hot breakfast option as in NL lounge, same food offer as old lounge.Little more space and good airfield views, but still feels a bit cramped. Bubbles and tablet also on offer for first day.

Pretty! What size is it compared to the old BA lounge at ABZ?

Maybe a wee bit bigger, but not much in terms of seating space

Looks decent. Very "BA". Classy, business orientated and not gaudy.

Toilets! No comfy seats right at the window? It does look classy, but I like the comfy seats at the window in NL. Just saying, not moaning - yet!

Looking good do far, its hard to tell from the photos, but the furniture and fittings don't seem to the Galleries Evolution furniture as seen in SIN, DXB et al. Neither is it the Rome concept, so something different again.

I agree, the workspaces facing the window are unfortunate for those who prefer a comfy seat at the window.

It is the same concept as the Rome lounge; all lounges will look slightly different and will have different features.

So BA have taken whatever furniture is on offer this week?
It looks astonishingly different to Rome! Maybe with more photographs the design will become clearer, but it doesn't seem like a local Costa where furniture differs slightly between and within a branch - presumably to give an eclectic and artisan feel you your local Mc Coffee Shop...

I'm up there in just over a week so will give it a try, don't trash the place before I arrive!

Just been. A decent effort but Northern Lights next door beats it in virtually every respect if you have a Priority Pass.

10 pics on the headforpoints Instagram feed and a review tomorrow.

Northern Lights reception told me at lunchtime she’d already had 2 who had said they had been in BA and decided to leave.

Upside is self pour Castelnau and very good staff.
